Travel Europe
There are a lot of reasons why people travel, most common of which are for tourism, visiting family and friends, business trips and commerce. A large majority of people who travel are usually tourists, often visiting other countries and places just for sightseeing and relaxing. People would sometimes want a change of scene to relax themselves, to get away from the everyday hassles, and to relieve them from work-related stress. With so many travel destinations to choose from, tourists and travellers are often confused which destination to choose. Travelling these days is not as expensive and inconvenient as it used to. There are now several world-class travel agencies that offer full travel packages to their clients that include airline tickets, accommodations to your travel destination, and arrangement for sightseeing on the local tourist spots. These days, a lot of tourist destinations are already offering world-class amenities because of their government’s effort to increase tourism in their country and help boost their economy. According to Wikipedia and the World Tourism Organization, the top ten most visited countries in 2006 are usually from European countries.

With so much volume of international visitors each year, a lot of travel agencies are offering travel packages for European destinations. There are a lot of tourist spots that you can visit in European countries, such as the Eiffel Tower in France, the Parthenon in Greece, and the Alhambra in Spain.
This review will discuss two premier destinations in Europe, namely, Ireland and Italy. We will be providing tips and facts about these two famous tourist destinations that will be useful when you travel to these two magnificent places.

Parthenon, Athens, Greece......Not everyone gets shots of the worlds great monuments with overcast skies and scaffolding!
Here are some tips for choosing travel destination as discussed by James Martin (About.com)
Purchase a guide book, such as country guides, six months before your intended vacation. If you have not decided for a destination, we have recommended two premier destinations in Europe — Italy and Ireland.
Make a list of your favourite European destinations that you’ve always wanted to visit. You don’t have to worry if there are too many places listed.
You can narrow down the list by considering the distances of each destination. James’ recommended distance is not 200 miles in a normal travel day.
You also need to consider the duration of your stay in these places. According to James, two days would not be enough to tour and enjoy the scenery for a large city. His recommendation is four days for cities such as Paris, and around one week for big regions such as Tuscany.
Try to rent an accommodation where you can do your laundry and shop for foods in the middle of your vacation. Hotels are very costly to stay in especially with your family.
Start making reservations on your accommodations if you plan to travel during the peak season. The best accommodations are usually booked in advance.

The Alhambra - Granada, Spain..... The intense effort put in to maintaining the Alhambra becomes especially apparent when viewing the palace's many gardens.
Learn more on the languages of the travel destinations that you wish to visit. Words that would likely be needed when you are already there such as a few polite words would be okay.
